Affton Athletic Association is now accepting applications for Adult Fall Slow Pitch Teams. The session will be 6 weeks long. The Men’s, Co-Ed and Women’s Leagues will be 12 games (6 Doubleheaders) for a fee of $475.00. The season will start the week of August 22, 2011. Game times for the leagues will be 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm. Games for the Men’s league will be Tuesday through Thursday Night, on Fields 4 & 6
Games for the Coed league will be Tuesday through Thursday Night on Field 2.

Any ball hit over the fence between the two flags by a Male is a home run. A limit of three (3) home runs per team by Males per game

A Male player walked in a Coed game will automatically take second base, the Female player will still have the option to hit or take a free pass to first base.

A Male player may not slide into any base.

Batters will start with a 1 and 1 count. The first place team will receive 1 Team Trophy and 14 T-shirts. Please be aware that every effort will be made to play all scheduled games, but in the event of unforeseen disaster or continuous inclement weather making rescheduling games impossible NO REFUNDS will be issued. Please send in a $150.00 deposit by July 31st, 2008. Upon receiving completed application a Roster Release and Insurance Waiver form will be mailed out. This form is to be completed and turned in with your balance of the entry fee at the Managers’ meeting ednesday August 20, 2008 at 7:00pm in the meeting room above the Ice Rink. If the form is not turned in your team will not be allowed to take the field.

CO-ED LEAGUES:
FIELD 2
A BALL HIT OVER THE FENCE BY A WOMAN IS A HOME RUN. A BALL HIT OVER THE FENCE BY A MAN IS AN OUT, UNLESS IT IS HIT BETWEEN THE TWO FLAGS. ONLY 3 HOME RUNS FOR MEN PER TEAM ALLOWED PER GAME. WALK A MAN, HE AUTOMATICLY GOES TO SECOND, AND GIRL GETS TO WALK OR MAY BAT. EACH TEAM MUST HAVE A LEAST 4 GIRLS. MAXIMUM GUYS ON FIELD IS 5. A MALE PLAYER MAY NOT SLIDE INTO ANY BASE. YOU MUST ALWAYS ROTATE BATTERS. EXAMPLE: MAN THEN WOMEN OR WOMEN THEN MAN, EVEN IF YOU HAVE A ODD NUMBER OF WOMEN OR MEN.

MENS LEAGUES:
Fields 4 & 6
ANYTHING OVER THE FENCES IS A HOME RUN.

ALL LEAGUES:
BATTER STARTS WITH A 1 AND 1 COUNT. FOUL ON THIRD STRIKE YOUR OUT. IF YOU NEED TO ADD PLAYERS TO YOUR ROSTER RELEASE FORM PLEASE DO SO BEFORE THEY PLAY IN THE GAME. THERE WILL BE BLANK ROSTER RELEASE FORMS IN THE CONCESSION STANDS.

IN CASE OF RAIN: 314-994-1255 ALL RESCHEDULE INFORMATION WILL BE ON THE RAIN OUT LINE

If rain occurs during the game and 4 or more innings have been played it is a completed game. If 3 1/2 innings are played and the Home team is winning, it is a completed game. If less than 3 1/2 innings are played or if the Home team is losing at 3 1/2 innings the game will be rescheduled
